Meet the artist
Cassaundra Underwood is a Tennessee-based artist whose work reflects her connection to nature and the beings who share it. A graduate of East Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design, Cassaundra turned her focus toward developing her painting skills during the pandemic, when she began exploring digital painting and redefining her artistic identity. That exploration led her to traditional painting, shaping a devoted practice centered on tranquil landscapes and intimate portrayals of animals and people. Each piece is rooted in presence, harmony, and quiet observation, honoring the relationship between land, life, and emotion while offering viewers a moment of calm and connection.
